Freelance Photographer

I have strong education in both photography and videography, using both professional lighting in the studio and on location.  Being a practiced film photographer I feel confident in saying I have the skills to achieve great images in camera, both stills and video, instead of relying on post production manipulation. By having a stable starting image, I then have more time to work in post-production without having to correct mistakes made in production. These skills did not come without much trial and error, as well as many hours of research keeping up with the latest trends in the industry.

I worked hard to create aesthetically pleasing and visually compelling products that my clients will appreciate. Through discussion and collaboration with the client I have been able to create work they are pleased with and I am proud to call my own. Some of my work as entailed portrait work, video demos of table top games, and assisting high volume commercial product studios.

I photographed high volumes of industrial supplies ranging from tiny drill bits, to industrial glue. Other duties entailed preparing items for shooting, taking test shots for upper management to approve, and repackaging items in a manner that the packaging appears unaltered. This was a high volume workflow ranging from 75-140 items shot per day. Certain days I acted more as an assistant, unloading new items and sorting them out by category, size, material, etc., and worked on the computer organizing product data, and cropping images for export. There was also a stent where I modeled several hundred gloves. This position had some leadership experience, requiring me to tell the studio assistant what items were a priority to be photographed and what other work needed completed that day.

Photographer

I worked in a high volume senior portrait studio working with the students and parents to achieve a product that they wanted. This entailed both the photograph and post production of editing photos for their finished product. Alongside portraits, I work as an event photographer for the various schools in the area at social and athletic events. 

I photograph car inventory for online listings for 3 different dealerships in the Auto Group. This includes photographing, editing and uploading the photos to the website that manages the inventory between the different websites. Alongside the photography, I also shoot short overview videos of each model of car for the purpose of increasing web presence and traffic.
