Product Developer

•	Using WebPDM database to input BOM, colorways, specs, and CADs passed from the designers in order to create Tech Packs that convey the fit and construction of each garment to ensure that design concepts are appropriately interpreted into samples.
•	Works with other team members to establish the fit construction and performance for both current production and new development.
•	Conversing with overseas factories and offices to initialize sourcing, solve both development and production construction issues, and field general questions concerning fabric, trims and construction of garments.
•	Responsible for measuring and evaluating all samples, both in development and production thoroughly, both for construction and for quality standard, to determine whether the garment is up to standard for delivery.
•	Attending fittings and communicating fitting and pattern changes to the factories.
•	Reviewing both fabric and trim lab dips in comparison to color standards for each style and colorway.


•	Initiating the development of seasonal styles, starting from sketching the original garment in Adobe Illustrator, to research and sourcing the raw materials, requesting samples to be sewn, and following the development process through to the finished product.
•	Using BOLT database systems to log in styles and initiate the development of physical garments through our contact the factory overseas.
•	Initiating and responding to daily contact with customers to make informed decisions on developing styles, keeping in mind price points and the customer's trends, both past and present.
•	Creating group sheets and tech packs to convey fit and construction instructions, and creating fit trackers to convey to the customer the progress of each style in development.
•	Creating trend boards seasonally to coordinate future styles with the customer.
•	Travelling domestically for customer design meetings.


Assistant Designer

•	Altered both bridal and bridesmaids gowns to perfectly fit for a wedding day, including hem, sewing bust cups, inserting zippers, beading and lace sewing.
•	Created custom lace veils by hand
•	Pressed, and stuffed bridal gowns for transport
•	Aided in the greeting and gown fittings for brides
•	Acquired experience in problem solving in a high stress environment
•	Worked as a team to aide in the achievement of complex problems
