Sunny Koh became a RYT in 2011 when a LisFranc injury (foot bone displacement) challenged her normally energetic, passionate and adventurous self to exercise more patience in recovering from a Lis Franc injury. Yoga taught her about the resiliency of a peaceful body and mind as she opted out of physical therapy to get on her mat. Having namastay'd in for nearly two years left her feeling wanderlust and keen on exploring the rest of the world. A year later, she was living abroad in Korea as an ESL and yoga teacher at Jai Yoga, a yoga and meditation center in Seoul. She hopes to meet more like-minded individuals and spends most of her time with her husky Marley, working on meditative movements in handstands, dreaming of her time in Bali, visioning a happier and healthier track for all.
