Marketing, Advertising, and Promotions

Current senior graduating in  May 2016 with a B.A. in Sustainability at SDSU's brand new Sustainability program along with a minor in Business Marketing. One of the greatest influences in my life is skateboarding. I wish to work alongside this passion in the action sports industry after graduation in May 2016 by commencing in an entry-level professional sales + marketing position. 


Growing up in the Los Angeles metropolitan area and by exploring the urban environment through skateboarding, I noticed urban sustainability problems at a young age. For that reason, I declared a major in Sustainability. After my internship at Volcom, I learned how a large retailer works when considering sustainable practices. For that reason, I declared a Business Marketing Minor at SDSU's College of Business to further my knowledge in the retail industry.

Summer Sustainability Intern 

During my time as a sales associate, I also successfully implemented changes in the life cycles of our products at our corporately owned location by establishing a "re-use" box in which skateboards as well as clothing articles can be donated. This implementation not only promoted a cradle-to-cradle life cycle of skateboard goods, but also supplied kids in need of these products in the local Phoenix area. All remaining products were donated to the local Goodwill store promoting sustainable fashion.
