I'm Chelsea, a marketing professional, a passionate philanthropist, and lover of creativity. I enjoy using social media, fashion, and photography to elevate brands and tell their unique stories. 

I learned early in my career that what motivates me is promoting brands that I truly love. Whether I'm writing, editing, posting, planning, brainstorming, styling, or directing, I enjoy building relationships, experimenting with social media channels, and challenging myself to grow and learn each day!

Responsibilities include:

• Identify and uphold brand aesthetic across all aspects of business 
• Ensure brand cohesiveness across channels 
• Collaborate with marketing/creative teams to manage brand identity 
• Oversee & manage social media marketing strategies and publications on all channels (focusing on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest); implementing promotion, engagement and conversion strategies
• Monitor all social media activities; managing and interacting with Sevenly's social media communities
• Grow the brand's social media followings 
• Represent the brand by communicating in a professional, but unique social media 'voice'
• Plan and Organize an editorial social media calendar
• Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy and react accordingly
• Monitor and track performance of posts, prepare reports, perform analyses and share data as directed
• Identify opportunities in user generated content and leverage for brand's soc

Brand Manager

Social Media responsibilities included:

• Create/manage content for blog posts, social media posts, and email marketing copy
• Brainstorm and pitch new ideas for marketing and social media
• Update Sevenly's social media presence on all relevant platforms daily
• Work closely with marketing team to tell the story of each weekly campaign
• Research weekly causes and charities to be fully informed about and prepare for each campaign
• Coordinate with other departments to gather and create new assets and pitch social media content ideas
• Initiating and maintaining influencer relationships (bloggers, celebrities, athletes, etc.) 

Photography responsibilities included:

• Manage content for Sevenly website, emails, advertisements, and social media platforms 
• Direct all photo shoots
• Work within a budget to conduct each shoot (including models, photography costs, styling, props, etc.)
• Scout all locations for shoots & obtain shooting permits when necessary
• Brainstorm photo ideas

Social Media and Photography Coordinator

LA Travel Magazine features local and global destinations, hotels, dining, and activities. 

My main responsibilities included:

• Managing LA Travel social media 
• Creating content to post daily to all accounts as well as implementing strategic campaign ideas
• Writing original reviews and articles for magazine publication (several published articles in Summer 2014 Issue)
• Editing articles for magazine
• Managing press releases and media for LA Travel Magazine 2014 Summer Issue Launch Party
• Participated in planning and execution of Launch Party at W Hotel in Hollywood

Social Media & PR Intern

AMG Media Marketing Group is an independently owned, full service marketing and public relations firm that specializes in all areas of marketing, public relations, event planning and management, reputation management, branding, social media and media planning.

My main responsibilities included:

• Daily contributions to over 20 client's social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for clients including Yogurtland SB, several limo companies, & an RV company) 
• Managing press releases and media for AMG clients

Social Media Marketing Intern

Together We Rise is a nonprofit organization based out of Chino, CA that is dedicated to transforming the way that youth navigate the foster care system in America. 

My project during my internship was to help coordinate the Summer 2014 Together We Rise/Threads for Teens Clothing Tour. TWR traveled to 16 cities to give children in group homes at each stop the opportunity to receive new clothing items, something which is extremely rare for them. My main tasks during this project included:

• Brainstorming and contacting potential sponsors for clothing, food, drinks, and other supplies
• Contacting different media representatives
• Coordinating activities at each stop
• Applying for grants to support tour funds

I got great hands-on experience through Together We Rise, and love the cause they support!

Public Relations Intern

Health to Hope Clinics is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides fixed-site and mobile healthcare to the homeless individuals and families throughout Riverside County. During the time of my internship, I had the opportunity to get experience in all areas of the organization. Some tasks I completed include:

• Designing marketing materials, including brochures and banners
• Creating and maintaining social media sites
• Assisting in redesign and editing of website in support of Health to Hope Clinics' re-branding initiative
• Assisting in the Human Resources department, including involvement in the hiring process
• Assisting with secretarial, clinical, and IT tasks

Health to Hope provided me with many opportunities to grow and learn, and I loved being a part of such a great organization!
