Freelance Apparel designer

- Provide input for tech packs, fittings and drawings in accordance to the requirements, designs, and product development specifications.
- Communicate on a daily basis with overseas vendors to ensure the product is being executed on the level of brand integrity
- Manage daily fit sessions and give feedback advising techniques for improvement
- Responsible for tracking samples from both internal and external business partners/vendors
- Ability to draw/sketch prototype with minimal product dimensions
- Identify technical design risks
- Ability to complete tech packets under supervision of senior team members
- Manage the TOP approval process and communicate information to and from the Distribution Center, while keeping the Technical Designer informed of any issues/concerns relating to the product.
- Assist the Senior Technical Designer and Technical Designer in maintaining the Time and Action

Technical Apparel designer

- Create, edit and update Spec Sheets: BOM, Measurements, Fit comments, Grading
- Create Tech Packs: Specific apparel information on placement, measurements and overall look of garment
- Designed apparel designs for Fall 2014 product line.
- Measurements-Took measurements of fit samples, noted changes, adjustments to garments for improvements
- Photography of garments for official website-set up, lighting, display
- Photoshop photos-edited, cropped photos so they are visually appealing
- Upload and manage main website
