Merchandise Planner - Outdoor Footwear

- Analyze business performance to recommend financial strategy.
- Development sales, inventory, & margin plan; as well as monthly re-forecasting.
- Supporting buying group in assortment line review process.
- Partner with the Merchant team to aptly response to current business trends.
- Manage OTB for the category during all phases of the business.
- Collaborate with the allocations team to recommend & suggest when needed. 
- Be adept enough to recommend & suggest alternatives during financial meetings; in order to 
maximize sales, margin, & inventory productivity; all while maintaining an appropriate EOP and Turn.

- Researching trends that will help Sports Authority's sales within camping. 
- Facilitating communications between vendors, internal staff, and maintaining inventory.
- Assisting the Buyer to analyze sales and find opportunities within camping for Sports Authority.
- Attend line reviews and partner with the buyer to help choose products that will benefit the Camping Department and Sports Authority.

Assistant Buyer, Camping

- Appropriately allocating fishing products to all 400+ Sports Authority stores.
- Supporting Sports Authority stores that carry a fishing assortment.
- Maintaining a business with over 10,000 SKU's.

Business Analyst (Fishing)

- A 10 week training program.
- Trains individuals within the program to become Allocators for Sports Authority.
- Training includes two weeks with the trainees in four different Sports Authority store locations.
- The training also includes: tasks and projects; within a class structure, to help facilitate success of the program and it's trainees.

Merchandising Training Program Trainee

- Ability to analyze an individual’s gait; to aid in the process of selecting the proper running shoe. 
- A knowledge of Nike forwards and backwards.
- Knowledge on the foot and various types of footwear.
- Communicate product information to customers
- Manage Nike inventories and placement of new Nike products.
- Keep up with new trends, and products.
