Hi there, I'm Michael. I discovered Malakye many years ago, and I've always kept them in mind as a valuable resource. Now that school is done, I've started my job search. I recently graduated from California State University, Northridge, where my major was Liberal Studies. My college experience helped me to learn about other cultures, and most importantly, I learned about myself. I also completed an internship with Center Theatre Group, LA's premier theatre company, where I worked in the Human Resources department. I enjoy helping people, and I want to get more experience in the areas of HR, employee relations, and administration. My goal is to someday be an HR generalist, or possibly a job recruiter. My job requires me to drive a patrol vehicle on the streets of an upscale residential community. Needless to say, I have an excellent driving record! The residents of the community are extremely wealthy. I also interact with them and my co-workers, which requires professionalism and patience. Please see my uploaded resume. This internship introduced me to the different functions of Human Resources. One of the highlights was the onboarding process; I was fortunate to have done this on three different occasions. It was a pleasure to meet new people and interact with them. Having compassion is what HR is all about. I also learned how to work with different personalities.
