Graphic Arts Manager / Senior Graphic Designer

I am an easy-to-work-with art director / graphic designer who enjoys mentoring and helping the team grow. I lead by example and enjoy working shoulder-to-shoulder to get the job done. Teamwork and positivity is everything! I have a friendly, bubbly personality balanced with maturity and 10+ years of print design experience. I am seeking to join a creative team where I can continue
to be challenged and mentored to expand my skills both as a creative leader and as a graphic designer.

Responsibilities include designing all printed, global,
high-profile marketing collateral including
international and domestic print ads, product
launches, multi-language brochures, social media
graphics, product packaging, worldwide trade show
graphics and more. Collaborating with the Marketing
Communications Manager and the Director of
Marketing on design and budget constraints to
ensure profitability and on-time delivery of all
creative assets. Creating and developing all internal
graphics for internal departments including the
international and domestic sales teams.
Art-directed rebranding initiatives which elevated
and modernized the Arlon image globally over our
competitors: 3M and Avery. Mentoring, motivating
and leading the graphic arts team, identifying
opportunities for each artist to develop and enhance
their skills while still meeting department quarterly
goals. 

Negotiated, collaborated and set realistic expectations
of international and domestic clients in the making of
custom airline models. Communicated verbally and
via email in a culturally-sensitive manner with
customers worldwide. Created and secured timely art
rendering approvals through open client dialogue and
quick turn-around. Problem-solved during the
production of the model with sales, model-shop,
paint mixing and silkscreen teams. Created the
silkscreen files for the model in Illustrator with the
utmost attention to detail. Saved PacMin time and
money by proofing the work of fellow designers.

Graphic Artist

Designed direct mail for The PennySaver of all sizes
and complexities. Managed sta schedules, resolved
complaints and de-escalated heated calls from sales
reps, delegated work and duties to the design team,
assisted in adjustments and error research, translated
ad copy from Spanish to English and vice versa,
trained and coached junior designers. Designed
training materials to streamline on-boarding of new
employees.
