Fledgling fashion designer making clothes for your visual autobiography. My aesthetic is visceral, informed by interdisciplinary research and a commitment to forms justified by function.

-Perform research to develop seasonal concepts.
-Create and maintain seasonal linesheets.
-Update sketches following development fittings.
-Create sketches for new bodies.
-Create seasonal digital color palettes to represent the colors allocated to each delivery. 
-Create and recolor prints.
-Compile color standard packets for vendors.
-Maintain physical and digital body books as records of all styles.
-Create packages for style handoffs to patternmakers and technical designers.
-Direct the production of samples for review by Soft Wovens senior designer and the creative director.
-Perform basic garment washes for fittings with Soft Wovens senior designer and the creative director.
-Participate in development fittings for Soft Woven styles.
-Work in cross-functional teams with PD and R&D departments to ensure appropriate trims are sourced and developed, develop prints and ensure sufficient yardage is ordered for sampling and production. 


-Updated production sample databases to track development stages of future deliveries.
-Prepared shipments of samples to domestic and overseas vendors.
-Communicated with Design, Development, and Production teams to ensure all sample deadlines are met.
-Assumed responsibility for compiling a bi to tri-weekly fit list for import, domestic, development, and production samples for both the Joie and Soft Joie brands within the second week of being employed.
-Cleared a month-long backlog of sample-entry within a week. 

Technical Design Assistant

-Sourced fabric and developed relationships with vendors.
-Organized swatch library by vendor and fabrication.
-Merchandised showroom ahead of client/stylist visits.
-Participated in fittings.
-Measured garments against specs to ensure quality control.
-Updated seasonal line sheets and product boards.
-Created and merchandised product descriptions and photos for E-Commerce site.
-Designed illustrated guide to getting into The Parker jumpsuit.
-Developed social media content to support the brand vision for the spring line.

Fashion Design Intern

-Worked with design team to select colorways and create silhouettes for a new line.
-Assisted head designer with developing silhouettes and flat sketches.
-Created fabric and trim boards to correspond with the Pantone colorway selected for the line.
-Sourced fabric and trims.
-Collaborated with graphic design team to develop verbiage and graphics for the upcoming line.

-Participated in development fittings and reviewed adjustments with patternmakers.
-Tagged and photographed garments before market.
-Maintained sample database, updating it following the production of new garments, and pulled garments for meetings with buyers.
