Adventure-seeking millennial ready to hit the ground running with a proven track record in marketing strategy and public relations and a passion to push sustainability forward. 

Tigercomm is a leading clean-tech marketing communications, PR and public affairs firm. As the marketing and communications intern I was able to gain experience at the center of the clean-tech industry. I worked directly with the Digital Brand & Content Manager on social media development, website management, and Tigercomm's inbound marketing strategy. I also worked alongside Senior Account Managers writing op-eds, pitching stories and conducting extensive media analysis. 

Marketing & Communications Intern

GW TRAILS, which stands for Teaching Recreation and Adventure Incorporating Leadership and Service is a student leadership program at George Washington University that serves the GW community and encourages students to enjoy the great outdoors.

As a guide I devised and planned the outings by preparing directions and meals, making reservations at different sites, renting vans and allotting for how much time we have to do activities. I lead experienced and non-experienced undergrad, graduate, and DC locals on different hiking, climbing, paddleboarding, kayaking, spelunking, white water rafting, and multi-day backpacking trips.

I am certified and equipped, after over 20 hours of hands-on classes and training, in Wilderness First Aid (WFA), Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Leave No Trace (LNT) wilderness ethics.

Outdoor Adventure Guide

Taught children how to develop athletic skills, self-confidence and teamwork in a fun, non-competitive environment. I worked on the marketing team for Super Soccer Stars as well by setting up booths and distributing flyers in different green spaces throughout DC, ultimately increasing Super Soccer Stars DC classes from only 3 classes a week to 3-5 classes a day, 6 days a week. I was trained extensively for over 15 hours by the International Super Soccer Stars staff in order to teach classes based on age-specific curriculum created by a combination of early childhood, soccer and education specialists.


Soccer Instructor

I tutored 30 elementary aged students in basic literacy and math skills the DC school districts. I also assisted the classroom teacher in reinforcing literacy and math skills by reading with the students, lead games that taught basic math and also played them with the students, helped students learn how to write the alphabet and numbers. Overall, I achieved the goal of fostering meaningful relationships with the students that resulted in improved academic performance.
