Responsible for ensuring data integrity within the HRIS system.
Train, supervise, and monitor work of HR Administrator.
Assist with establishing procedures and workflow guidelines to ensure timeliness and efficiency of data input and to support the needs of the business.
Serve as the HR Generalist for the Canadian division including working with supervisors/managers in addressing employee relations matters, managing leaves of absence, benefits administration, responding to employee inquiries, review HR paperwork submitted, and ensuring terminations are handled in accordance with Provincial regulations.
Work closely with HR VP, HR Managers, and Payroll Specialists in addressing various employee-related matters.
Work with TALX and applicable supervisors in coordinating responses and applicable documents in response to unemployment claims.
Coordinate documents and paperwork for both internal and external audits
Assist HR VP with controlling labor costs through oversight of FTE & position management structure.
Generate and distribute various reports from HRIS.
Have processed payroll for US and Canada divisions.
Provided valuable assistance with HR Projects including transition and implementation from ADP to Ceridian HR/Payroll system.
Assist HR VP with special projects and assignments as needed.
Assist with the planning and hosting of company events
Maintains employee benefit programs, including Medical, Dental, Life, 401k and COBRA
Manage and track Leaves of Absences
Develop and implement company policies
Administer new hire onboarding and terminations
Perform pre-employment reference checks
