Product Development Manager

•	  Oversees the life cycle of the Sak leather handbags, from concept to production.   Responsible for working with designers and merchants to create a product line that reflects current trends and sales needs, taking into consideration smart and innovative design to reach internal margin goals as well as passing along value to the customer.  
•	Establishes and manages the product development budget.  
•	Works with the merchant and sales team to create samples orders.  Reviews and monitors sample orders to eliminate any unneeded samples, make sure samples are timely, and addresses any sampling issues.  
•	Provides market support.  Works with merchant to set wholesales/retails based off initial costing.  Provides line sheets to the sales team for market week.  Communicates market feedback to China PD team. Orders post market samples.
•	Creates and maintains PLM system product data.  Updates system to reflect what’s ordered for sales samples pre-market and then again post market to  

•	Provided budgeting/forecasting and sales analysis for various product categories across domestic markets.  
•	Established reporting tools for sales team to monitor daily and monthly sales goals, key account/product detail, sales rep data, inventories, future orders, and the success of new style launches. 
•	Assisted with the planning and preparation of the 2007 budget of $250 million 
•	Prepared and presented detailed month- and year- end analysis for senior management.

Worked with cross functional team members, ranging from operational warehouse managers to controllers to sales and marketing analysts.
