Boris Burdikin

Design Director with extensive experience in the Sportswear, Active Sportswear, and Accessories markets. Through the years I have designed and directed product categories that include Denim, Knits, Woven's, Graphics, Swim + Surf, Active, Sweaters, Outerwear and Accessories. My skill set is also heavily rooted in brand building, trend and design research. As part of my process I incorporate a strong visual language to create dynamic storyboard presentations and product assortments.

With my cultivated understanding of brand DNA, Culture, and Brand Building I have had great success translating market trends into commercially viable and aesthetically desirable products. My mission is to always to dig deep and extract the core essence of the brand and build on that principle. I love creating products with purpose that the customer can connect to. My varied background in the menswear, active and lifestyle markets has always allowed me to explore how all can co-exist.

My global expertise in both Product Development and Trend Research is supported by many years of travel to Asia and Europe. As a designer I am always on the look out for global inspiration to feed my creative output. My interests range from Fashion, Art, Travel, Music and everything in between. Most of all I am inspired by working with like minded creative people who are passionate about what they do.
