I'm an active, ambitious individual that loves to be challenged in and outside of the workplace. I thoroughly enjoy writing, filming, working out, and exploring the outdoors. 

I recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in journalism and a focus in Digital Media Production from the world renown School of Journalism and Communications. 

I researched retail brands and their skate/snow teams, then wrote and edited product descriptions on Tactics’ back-end site before products went live on the website. Item spec entry was another part of this job.

Copywriter

An internship that focused on boosting the online presence of a grassroots coalition in Salem, Oregon. Managing various outlets of social media (Twitter, Facebook), creating/revamping the OFS website, interviewing county officials, writing briefs, redesigning newsletters, office tasks.

Public Relations Intern

An internship that allowed me to explore the various inner workings of Hampton Af liates.
Web design through various template based websites as well as implementing some self-taught HTML use, social media presence expansion, studying marketing strategies and audiences, participated in live sales, reviewed and explored exports to countries in Asia and Europe.

An internship that allowed me to produce Flux, the capstone publication at the University of Oregon. Story research, source generation, transcribing, writing a biography on the founder of Flux, planning the release event of the 21st edition of the magazine, establishing the Flux LinkedIn, editing Flux Staff photos, proofing pieces with the executive staff.

Editorial Intern

An internship that exposed me to the foundations of print journalism. Proofing, writing articles, attending editor meetings, covering and live Tweeting events, confirming source information, interviewing sources.
