Designer - Accessories, Soft-Goods & Footwear Design

Extensive experience in all aspects of the design and development of all accessory categories and currently working in a freelance capacity. Skills include design/development, print/pattern creation, trend research, brand development, vendor relations, assortment building and retail strategy.  

?Currently working as a freelance designer in the Accessories, Footwear & Soft-Goods industries. Both as brand consultant and working directly with vendors and manufactures. 

Lead a small team in developing all private label accessories and footwear for Urban Outfitters Men's division. This included working with the design director on trend research and seasonal concept development and then continuing through the design and development of the actual product. Categories included; bags, footwear, hats, cold weather, underwear and socks. Was also working directly with the buying and production teams to develops trend right product for the UO customer.


Senior Designer - Mens Accessories & Footwear

Responsible for design and development process for all non-apparel men's product. This includes belts, bags, cut & sew hats, footwear, seasonal cold weather items (knit hats, knit and woven scarves and gloves), small leather goods, socks and neckties. Key responsibilities include: trend research and competitive shopping - mood boards and directional presentations - design and technical drawings & tech packages for sampling - vendor communications for sample revisions.

Designer - Mens Accessories

I was brought in to design the line of Fall '06 bags and various miscellaneous items (wallets, iPod cases, etc.) While there I worked on design development, product sketches, materials selections and final design packages. 

Freelance Designer - Mens Accessories

Responsible for concept direction, design, production spec drawings, production follow up and revisions, packaging and overall brand direction. Worked on various private label projects for clients including Urban Outfitters, Wet Seal, Hot Topic, Marshals, and others. Other work includes a line of licensed accessories for the Andy Warhol Foundation.
