My name is Brynn Seitzman. I graduated from Fort Lewis College with a Bachelor in Graphic Design in December of 2015. I’ve lived in Colorado my entire life and have been in love with art and design for most of it. I recently moved out to Los Angeles for a graphic design internship for Hypothesis Group that was 2 months. Then I started another internship with a company called Social Lighthouse where I do graphic design work as well as social media. I also recently started some freelance for the Attic which is a restaurant in Long Beach. I am working on a little of their social media by designing some snap chat filters. I also create their ads for magazines as well as other projects. I love getting as much experience as possible and learning as much as I can to become the best designer that I can be. I am looking for something that teach me more design skills and lead me into a full time graphic design career.
During Summer 2014, I designed a poster that recently got published by Graphis’ New Talent Annual 2015. This poster addresses the global warming issue, where I used a simple concept of burnt and crushed matches to create a forest visual. I had a lot of fun with this project, but the issue remains serious. I went out of my box by doing something off the computer screen. I also have a passion for photography. I recently took a course that expanded my experience with Photoshop emphasizing the importance of graphic creativity. I also just received another piece published by Graphis’ New Talent Annual 2016. I designed a vodka bottle for one of my last advertising classes before graduation.
I am a hard worker and I enjoy collaborating with others in group situations. My skills range from creating logos in Illustrator to designing and basic websites coding. I believe designers should possess a variety of skills and knowledge in design programs. This creates a multi-faceted approach to creating work for different clients and needs.
