Joining the Flowfold team is the exciting result and culmination of 6 years of sales and operations experience and a personal commitment to local entrepreneurial and business development.
My professional experience ranges from a fortune 500 Medical Device company, to a startup specialty pharmaceutical company that raised $60M in fundraising and sold for $200M in 2016, to Flowfold, a startup retail company that builds minimalist gear for the pursuit of everyday adventure and is based out of Portland Maine.
Specifically, my roles have encompassed nearly every aspect of sales and operations, from inside sales and field sales, to sales analytics to full management of all commercial operations. Flowfold is experiencing exciting brand growth and market penetration, and as President of Sales and COO, I plan to leverage this prior experience to effect change and drive operational efficiency and sales growth.
I view myself as an initiator, innovator, out-of-the box thinker and a problem solver, seeking the best and most efficient and effective way to solve any problem and accomplish any goal. These traits are common to entrepreneurs and it is with great pride that I can say I am now an executive of an entrepreneurial company here in Maine.
My new position at Flowfold further embraces my personal commitment of always giving back and supporting local entrepreneurs through community initiatives like Maine Startup and Create Week and the UMaine Business Challenge. In addition, networking and mentoring are additional concepts that I embrace and I have been an active contributor to my alma matter as a Board member for the Alumni Association and active Chair and founder of the Black Bears of Portland.
