The President is also the Publisher of Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine, and owns Summit Publishing which publishes both magazines, and the Mountain Gazette – a digital online blog for the Rocky Mountain lifestyle.

Giant is the largest bicycle manufacturer in the world and holds a top 3 position for brands in the United States by sales volume and dollars.  Initially, I was one of two regional sales managers, and my Western sales team consisted of 13 sales account executives supporting over 350 independent bicycle retailers.  Over my 4 years at Giant, we had grown our organization to 5 Regional Sales Managers, and my team had minimized accordingly to 5 account executives covering Colorado, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, and Southern California. It was the dream territory to work.

Regional Sales Manager

At Michelin, I split my time between leading software development and outsourcing initiatives for the IT organization, to running a product line in the 2 Wheel team.  In IT, my role bridged the relationships with Logistics, Network Redesign, and the partnership that was new at the time, with IBM.  In the 2 Wheel division I spent my first year and a half as a key account manager focused on sales, and supporting marketing events and initiatives; followed by taking over the role as product line manager for North America with full responsibility for results, strategic planning, cross team coordination, channel management, and sales.
