My name is Rachel Bristol, I am a graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design(SCAD), with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and a Masters in Art Education. During the past few years I had unique opportunity to work for two divisions under The Walt Disney Company, ESPN and Disney Design Group(DDG), Disney Theme Park Merchandise.


One of the reasons I chose to work for Disney is because I love designing products that bring happiness and joy into people's lives. Designing products is my way of helping people to express themselves! Whether they are celebrating a marathon or simply
looking for a shirt that highlights their personality, the details matter to me. As an artist I thrive on curiosity and discovering new creative solutions that reshape the world around me. As a designer I understand the joy in creating and as an artist I know the value in expression. Together they bring a happiness no one can deny. I am in search of the "right" fit where art is the focus.


During my time with ESPN I worked in a competitive, fast paced, deadline driven environment, producing on-air graphics for ESPN Networks across multimedia Platforms. The confidence and skill set I learned while working for ESPN have proven to be invaluable. As a designer for Disney Design Group I was able to partner with Research and Development, Marvel, Star Wars, Dooney and
Bourke, and runDisney to create original merchandise for Disney Parks andResorts; domestic and global.I was continually relied on to provide innovative concepts and fabrications to create dynamic designs that combined fashion forward trends with the Disney flare.


I am a graphic design professional looking for a company that embraces talent and thrive on molding and shaping their designers. I am a dedicated, passionate professional whose skills in both graphic design and painting give me a unique edge in creating distinctive designs. I have an impeccable eye for detail and I define perfection as an underlaying harmony between the client’s needs and the design. When it comes to my work I always go the extra mile so that it can be the best it can be!


Specialties: Experienced background in merchandise design, character designs, logo development and corporate identity, branding, promotion, typography, package design, layout design, web design, HTML and CSS, WordPress, pre-press and post production, market analysis, ethnographic research, and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Adobe CC+: Illustrator,Photoshop,InDesign; Painting and Illustration.
Working Knowledge of Adobe CC+: After Effects, Flash and Dreamweaver.

Create original concepts, graphic designs, and Disney character designs for the
merchandise line of business creative vision within Disney Theme Park Merchandise;
domestic and global. Additionally support the Research and Development team by
creating designs that showcase new, innovative and creative ideas and businesses to
the organization, keeping the company at the forefront of emerging trends.

Produce on-air, internal and external graphics for ESPN Networks across multimedia
platforms; domestic and international. Client work included Sportscenter,
First Take, College Football, Game Day, and Baseball Tonight.

Associate Designer, Motion Graphics

Support and create concepts, graphic designs, and Disney character designs for the
merchandise line of business creative vision within Disney Theme Park Merchandise;
domestic and global.

Creative Assistant Intern,

Responsible for identity, print, and web designs for various clients. Client work
included projects for Microsoft, Starbucks, T-Mobile, SIGN and other local
businesses in the surrounding area.
