Assistant Gundog Trainer

Training retrievers for both waterfowl and upland hunting. Knowledgeable in waterfowl and upland game identification, basic obedience training, e-collar condition, force fetch, force to pile, and basic casting. Completed hunters safety course, hunting license purchased yearly and seasonal tag purchases. Working closely with the California Waterfowl Association as well as being a member. 

Conducting and scheduling avian and bat mortality surveys for the Alta Wind projects, via parallel transects within search plots while scanning the ground for bird and bat moralities. Other responsibilities include searcher efficiency trials, carcass removal trials, quarterly fence checks, desert tortoise fence checks and raven nest management. Golden eagle, desert tortoise and burrowing owl monitoring using direct focal observations. Tracking and monitoring of the southern California condor population via radio telemetry and direct focal observations. Weekly correspondence with various agencies including West Inc., USFWS, and CDFW.  Fieldwork includes hiking in rugged terrain and inclement weather, interacting and forming positive relationships with private land owners, and driving/maintaining 4WD vehicles. Coordinating safety meetings, field work schedules, time cards and quarterly reviews for seasonal field technicians.    

Lead Field Technician 

Hired as part-time employee, promoted to store manager. Duties include excellent customer service, problem solving, employee conflict, retail merchandising, inventory control, purchasing, organizing events, overseeing daily cash register activity as well as daily bank deposits, attending local chamber meetings and Superzoo Trade Shows, product research, managing employees, and scheduling, educating customers in nutrition of their pets, and general training & obedience. 

Store Manager

Hired as Customer Service Rep and quickly promoted to inside sales, submitting orders &re-orders, warehouse packaging, using Red Horse, sending e-mails on a daily basis to outside accounts, and customer service in the Northeast Territory. 


Inside Sales Representative 

Hired as Sales Associate, promoted to District Manager of six stores.  Responsibilities included customer service, problem solving, employee conflict, product knowledge in ski, snow, skate, motocross, sales incentive programs with the employees to increase sales on a monthly average. Additional duties include recruiting customers, inventory control, merchandising, re-orders, employee training & evaluation, human resources, Junior’s & Men’s buying, cashier, retail with Action Sports Products, attending ASR and Magic Trade Shows, working with sales representatives on purchasing products, and handling RA’s.
