As Marketing Project Coordinator at UC San Diego, I have successfully worked with all creative and technical staff to execute impactful advertising and marketing collateral, both print and digital. I have become an expert in working with mail houses and vendors for direct mail, and also internal staff for outbound e-communication, specifically email and social media. My day-to-day responsibilities include planning, ensuring execution of, and analyzing anything and everything marketing-related. This includes everything from leading the kick-off meeting for Campaign A, to analyzing survey responses from events that will eventually be a result of Campaign A. Projects typically last anywhere from two to nine months; at any given time, we have hundreds of active projects in WorkZone, the project management system for which I am the administrator and that I instated, and I manage their progress to ensure that expectations and timelines are met. Please see my resume and LinkedIn profile for succinct explanations of my other responsibilities.
As Marketing Publications Coordinator at UC San Diego, I truly did a little bit of everything: acting as project manager and designing marketing collateral for many different departments and many different personality types; photographing anything from the Alumni Gala on campus, to dolphins from the bow of a ship for our Triton Summer Experience program; completely designing and launching our digital signage system on campus, which serves about twenty LCD screens around the university; successfully managing our student staff’s scheduling and workload; creating budgets, reaching out to vendors, and sending billing to our office management. I take great pride in my versatility and ability to find solutions for problems, and am positive that I would be a valuable asset to Sector 9.
