I recently graduated from George Washington University with a Masters of Sports Management. I have interned with Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment as well as the Washington Capitals Hockey Club. Additionally, I co-founded a lacrosse lifestyle brand through my undergrad experience. 

My experience with the Washington Capitals Hockey Club required me to exercise effective communication with upper management, media-related personnel, and demonstrate organizational & project management skills through coordinating multiple projects with various scopes and deadlines. Additionally, this included monitoring of social media accounts of specific players and analyzing certain information. Through analyzing and managing both current and historical statistical records to creating oral and written reports and releases for the hockey operations department, I was able to demonstrate my hockey knowledge and my writing and editing skills. The confidential nature of these assignments displays my reliability, professionalism and ability to exemplify sound judgement when working with sensitive information. 

Hockey Operations Intern

Through my internship at Maple Leaf Sport & Entertainment (MLSE), I was able to build and develop professional relationships with internal clients and departments. My passion and expertise of elite sports properties helped drive the successful projects that I assisted in coordinating. My pro-active participation and ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as individually resulted in successful outcomes such as meeting strict deadlines and ensuring that the MLSE vision was met. Some of these projects included assisting in social media efforts of how fans can use social media for a multitude of purposes. For example, how to follow a game through live-tweeting, how to comment through Facebook and Instagram to grasp attention during a Q&A session with high school students, and how to form posts best suited for contests, giveaways, and events.
