Experienced professional with exceptional communication, project management & organizational skills. Superior ability to effectively engage, align and inspire customers, constituents, colleagues and senior executives through open and honest dialogue in a performance-based culture. Able to lead multiple projects simultaneously throughout their entire life cycle while executing everyday details and understanding the long-term strategy.

?Primary point of contact for all law enforcement and fire/ems grant projects sold by account managers company wide east of the Mississippi river averaging 50 projects in process at any given time.

Serve as the liaison between First Responders (Police, Fire & EMS, Local Gov.) and contract grant writers to fulfill all requirements regarding research, assembly and submission of Federal, State, Corporate and Private grant funding opportunities.

?Responsible for all grant review and sign off prior to submission.


Project Manager (Independent Contractor

•	Oversee government, corporate and private foundation prospect research, compliance and coordination activities, including the development and maintenance of prospects for a $1.1 Million dollar grants budget
•	Prepare and manage grant budgets in collaboration with Chief Financial Officer
•	Research prospective foundation and corporate donors, work with other Advancement team members to recommend individual funders and explore and cultivate corporate sponsorship opportunities
•	Cultivate strong relationships with foundation personnel, especially Philanthropy Officers; coordinate site visits and one-on-one communications with donors
•	Track solicitation and giving actions in the donor database and through other tracking processes
•	Gather and organize appropriate program and outcomes information, facts, stories, and photos to write and develop grant proposals, communication and collateral materials
•	Coordinate with program staff to manage grant award requirements as well as annual repo

Foundation Relations Officer

•	Seek out and coordinate community-based education opportunities with public and private schools, faith centers, child care facilities, universities, community agencies, the medical community, summer camps, and community groups
•	Recruit, interview and train volunteers for direct services and fundraising activities
•	Re-vamp volunteer orientation, policies, procedures, management and guidelines for organization
•	Raise staff awareness with respect to volunteers’ roles and functions
•	Maintain and update donor and volunteer records in Raiser’s Edge
•	Cultivate individual and corporate donors as well as redesign the sustainable giving program 
•	Implement reporting/tracking methods for outreach efforts
•	Recruit, screen and train volunteers 
•	Responsible for working on two main fundraising events per year: Gala (Spring) and Golf Tournament (Fall) and other small agency events
