By the time I was 21, I had climbed the tallest mountains. Not in a metaphorical sense – I literally climbed to the highest point in Los Angeles county as well as backpacked through the Sawtooth Mountains.
While I was hiking through both, the idea of quitting came to my mind around 2,000 times, and believe me that is a low estimate. But despite mental and physical fatigue, unbearably hot and freezing weather, high altitude and Cliff Bar overdose, I kept going. I am just that type of person. Once I say I’ll do something, odds are it will happen. Now, I put that perseverance in to all aspects of my life, especially to work and school.
As for my future career aspirations, I don’t plan on climbing any mountains…but I do intend to move them.
