Assistant Marketing Director

Samuel is a recently graduated university student with a demonstrated history of working in the service industry. Work in collaboration with the senior marketing director and other department chairs to develop promotion and advertising campaigns aimed towards increasing listener engagement. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our sponsor counterparts at Golden Voice LA, Observatory OC, The House of Blues, and Burger Records.

Work in collaboration with the senior photo editor and other newsroom staff to produce the visual elements of news stories for both print and web mediums. Also a staff writer and field reporter for Cal State Fullerton's student-run newspaper, The Daily Titan.

Assist multiple departments and mangers with special projects and administrative duties. Responsible for organization, filing, and management of property and vendor paperwork.

Job duties include providing exceptional customer service while making handcrafted, quality beverages; daily store operations require maintenance of POS systems, stock organization, visual merchandising of new product and the formation of personal connections with customer base.

Certified Barista Trainer. Achieved the title of Coffee Master, a title awarded to those that have studied and possess extensive knowledge of coffee origins, trade, and growing, as well as the roasting and flavor pairing process.

Job duties include management of fellow cash register associates, handling receipts and store deposits, helping maintain visual merchandising of all product, assisting customers with checkout, maintenance of POS systems and store updates such as mark downs, transfers, shipment, and damages, working with Store Manager and other leads to manage daily activity on the sales floor as well as developing creative plans to increase sales.

Responsibilities include meeting weekly sales goals, brand knowledge, the completion of in-store marketing projects, organization of store merchandise and stock, assisting customers with checkout, operation of cash register, and insuring an excellent customer experience.
