Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

I was raised in Eugene, Oregon and have developed a love for the Pacific Northwest. I enjoy being able to explore everything it has to offer, whether it’s hiking Spencer’s Butte or driving up to Portland for a Trail Blazer’s basketball game. 

Over the past few years I’ve had various internships and jobs that have given me valuable experience. They’ve also given me an inside look into the communications industry. I have worked as a freelance writer, marketing intern, contributor, development and communications intern, social media assistant, project manager and marketing coordinator for various non-profits, companies, organizations, and agencies.




• Updated the company’s website with videos, photos and graphics that were produced using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Executed digital marketing strategies to effectively advertise listings and generate leads. 
• Created daily content for 20 broker’s social media accounts in order to increase engagement with the community.

• Managed various aspects of projects, including: schedules, resources, production timelines and client meetings.
• Performed quality assurance examinations for A/B tests and other development projects.
• Assisted with the marketing and execution of a bi-monthly networking event called Camp Optimization.


Project Manager

• Created social content for 4 accounts that amplified brand affinity, drove engagement, and increased followers. 
• Researched and identified influencers from social communities to help create digital content for two clients.
• Collected and analyzed data from various social media channels to monitor the effectiveness of our campaigns.


Social Media Assistant

• Assisted with communication efforts such as press releases, media tracking and website copy.
• Examined data from the chapter’s database for statistics needed to enhance various media projects.
• Developed content for all of Make-A-Wish Oregon’s social media channels that detailed granted wishes.

Development and Communications Department Intern

• Processed orders efficiently and accurately while developing rapport with guests.
• Cultivated repeat business through excellent guest relations.
• Maintained the appearance of merchandise and products according to company standards. 


Disney College Program Intern/Cast Member

• Translated over 300 press releases into articles that garnered interest in local events, organizations and companies.
• Provided complete, accurate and compelling coverage of 5 Northwest sports teams.
• Researched breaking news that occurred throughout the state of Oregon.


Contributor

• Established and maintained relationships with the local soccer community. 
• Wrote and developed content for player profiles that helped publicize key team members.
• Helped promote 3 fundraisers, that over 200 people attended, by tabling at several venues throughout Eugene.


Marketing Intern

• Researched, pitched, and produced 17 stories pertaining to PAC-12 athletics.
• Edited and proofread articles after receiving feedback in order to ensure accuracy.
• Contributed story ideas during weekly conference calls with senior staff members.
