Responsible for implementing and improving Demand Forecasting and S&OP processes among a team of forecasters:
Support the Women’s Specialized Division Buying Teams with pre-season demand planning and forecasting for replenishment items in all stores and D2C warehouses; further integrate sales and operations plans with stakeholders to ensure demand consensus. Drive continuous improvement of forecast accuracy by identifying the best mathematical forecast, but also through implementing new integrated demand planning processes with stakeholders to optimize inputs. Identify and lead best practices, application education, and maintenance of the core Retail Demand Forecasting system (Oracle RDF).

Responsible for the functional alignment and enhancement of Sales & Operations Planning models for total company (Zappos and 6PM.com, subsidiaries of Amazon), a $4B business:
Contributed to achieving operating profit targets of 108% in 2014. Worked cross-functionally with Zappos, 6PM, and Amazon to achieve established expectations by forecasting demand of all inbound/outbound product group flows for Amazon fulfillment centers.  Designed and implemented process improvement initiatives that greatly enhanced the transparency and accountability of the Buying and Merchandise Planning teams’ inputs into the S&OP processes.  Partnered with 6PM stakeholders to develop and improve holistic forecasts to deliver strategic recommendations that optimized inventory and contribution profit.

Sales & Operations Planning Analyst

Managed all aspects of supply chain and production of North American Corn Seed products:
Daily analysis of commercial needs with supply capacities and production plans with an objective to improve supply situation and optimize inventory levels. Supported the development of production plan and S&OP models while working cross-functionally with stakeholders during implementation. Redesigned the US corn seed distribution processes by defining the optimal methods required to maintain service levels while reducing inventory and production costs.

Operational Planning Analyst

Directly managed a support team of 15-25 employees and cultivated knowledge/ skill development:
Created route plans for inbound operations based on local tendencies and characteristics of freight, while ensuring cost efficient operations and optimal delivery; these operations were inclusive of all LTL transportation. Drafted operations procedures and evaluated all opportunities to improve efficiencies and cut terminal costs, including the successful development of postponement schedules for non-due shipments.
