I have over 20 years of experience in print and online, ranging from designer & illustrator to communications manager. With a broad skill-set highlighted by a keen ability to convey complex ideas to a wide audience, I am a concise and versatile designer who works well under pressure and tight deadlines.

• Art direct and design identity packages, advertising campaigns, web sites, books, packaging, and a wide range of publications and programmatic materials, including posters, newsletters, advertising, and flyers for both local and out-of-state clients.
• Illustrate with a whimsical touch a variety of books, magazines, posters, and advertising campaigns.
• Write, edit, spot-edit, and proofread content for books, newsletters, brochures, advertising, e-mails, and web sites.

General Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage ongoing communications to increase awareness of CBA member benefits, products, and services 
• Guide marketing for CBA's client associations: Washington State Commercial Association of Realtors (WSCAR), and Washington chapter of Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM)
• Serve as the main copywriter for all communications of CBA and its clients, including emails, media alerts, website, classes, reports, print collateral, and presentation materials
• Design all CBA communication material, including print and digital media
• Develop and maintain CBA style and brand guidelines
• Create and manage marketing and communications budgets
• Supervise freelance graphic designers

Email:
• Manage email campaigns, including drafting copy, scheduling, list segmentation, and distribution for CBA and its association clients
• Design email templates using graphics and advanced features
• Track and analyze key data to make recommendations for future communications
• Maintain master calendar of all outgoing bulk and individual member communications

Social Media:
• Develop and maintain social media plans and presence for CBA and clients, including suggestions for growth
• Collaborate with staff and association marketing committees to develop and maintain social media guidelines and recommendations
 
Website: 
• Manage CBA website updates, including classes, events, and general information
• Assess and recommend enhancements and technical & design needs, and make suggestions to improve the visual layout, content, and usability
• Use analytics (traffic behavior, users, and downloads) to make recommendations on how to improve the CBA user experience on an ongoing basis; provide reports and analysis as requested

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Contracted to manage communications for the best-established Jewish camp in the Pacific Northwest.
Responsible for:
• Development and implementation of a cohesive marketing, communication, and social media plan, ensuring a consistent and cohesive message across platforms – with specific focus on ongoing capital campaign, camper enrollment, and off-season rental opportunities
• Production and distribution of all print and electronic collateral, including advertising, brochures, newsletters, and emails
• Regular posts on all social media accounts, and exploration of potential new platforms
• Supporting the leadership team with community events, including open house, meet-ups, ribbon cuttings, etc.

Communications Manager

Managed communications for a synagogue of 900+ member families:
• Created and executed monthly newsletter: solicited articles from staff and board members, wrote content, produced graphics and spot illustrations, took and edited photos, edited and proofed content, managed deadlines, and oversaw print production and mailing
• Developed web site, from overseeing complete website redesign, to rewriting and editing all content and photographs/graphics, to daily management of all written and graphic content
• On-going work with social media initiative to further engagement and develop cohesiveness within the congregation: expanded reach on Facebook by over 400%; and through social media, led our membership to gain recognition in the community to win many "Best of Seattle" and "Best of Jewish Washington" awards several years in a row, including "Best Synagogue"!
