A little bit about myself, my name is Mariel Lunasco and I currently reside in Downtown Long Beach.
I’ve worked in various Marketing department settings (Trade shows, Account Management, Catalogs) for 3+ years with an appliance manufacturing company prior to attaining a degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of California-OC, where-after I acquired a job working for the largest Southern California furniture dealership with whom primarily sold B2B. I was tasked with working side by side with the sales teams to create vital tools and resources necessary to go to market through various mediums whether digital or print, designing email blasts, landing pages, print & digital advertisements, presentations, proposals, social media graphics, and promotional products.
In between, I’ve freelanced for several types of clientele, from agency, small business to corporate doing a wide variety of work. My biggest fear is to be pigeon-holed into a particular type of designer; I don’t want to do just one type of design. I constantly strive to have a wide variety of work and am always teaching myself about new and current trends, applications, and technologies.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, backpacking, photography and videography. I love seeking new adventures.
