Demand Planner -  Apparel

Demand planner with 5+ years of supply chain experience ready to translate a robust skillset to a new opportunity within the industry.  Utilizes data analysis, continuous improvement best practices, and cross departmental collaboration to spearhead business plan creation, execution, and inventory management for a $22 million apparel and accessory business. Owns and is accountable for the global alignment from all regions for asset management, demand planning, supply planning, and fiscal alignment for the Wolverine Brand Group apparel and accessories business. Primary responsibilities include: inventory optimization and metrics, on-hand sku optimization, forecasting, inventory procurement, and factory production management.

Oversaw and supported site Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) implementation through a program manager type role. Drove the TPM strategic roadmap through continuous improvement projects, yield reduction, and 5S application.

Created an e-commerce inventory management system from square one. Managed inventory, pricing, and movement of water sport hard goods across various online selling platforms. Built a customer base to the point where domestic and international clients were bulk-buying regularly. This lent to movement of approximately 75% of inventory ranging in date from current year at the time of employment to two decades old.

Supported the responsibilities of the buyer, pertaining to purchase order fulfillment and categorical inventory on-hand reduction. Played an integral role in upholding positive relationships with category vendors. Acted as a liaison between vendors, the buying team, and the firm's stores.
