Industrial Designer II

Hiking over 2000 miles of the Appalachian trail in under 5 months and 4 months abroad traveling Asia and Europe have been two of my defining moments.

My work history is in product design and Industrial Automation, my undergraduate in Industrial Design and I am currently working on my MBA. This being said I have a passion for learning and working with cross functional teams.

This position involves researching, developing and marketing on gun accessories. I am able to understand the consumer market, study trends and follow through with product concepts for the market place.

As a Design Engineer I accept the responsibilities of project manager, which involves me seeing through from the conceptual drawings, to prototype builds in the shop, all the way to the  nal installation of our machines on a factory  oor. On a day to day basis I interact with supervisors, salesmen, engineers, designers, machinist, technicians and customers to ful ll tasks or assignments.

Design Engineer

As a student working for Emerson I was given a design brief then I spent three months in consumer research on how to better market and sell wet
dry vacuums. The four months following I would research, sketch, build CAD models, foam core models, foam models, and last step was to vacuum form a 1:1 plastic model.
