Freelance Graphic Designer

I am a graphic designer and visual artist, located in Santa Ana, CA. I specialize in typography, illustration, and branding. Proficient in creating products for both print and web purposes.

I've now got six years of freelance studio practice under my belt, and over three years professional experience as a graphic designer, production artist and layout editor. I possess strong written and oral communication skills; speaking fluent english and basic spanish. 

I consider myself to be a team player–reliable, considerate, thorough; a multi-tasker, able to take direction well, but also self-directed; a critical thinker, an obsessive grammar perfectionist and run-on-sentence master. Pretty much sums me up. 

Responsible for all operations of independent design studio. Including, but not limited to, illustration, design, typography, fabrication, printing, website, marketing, book making, records keeping and customer service.


Graphic design for weekly Alternative Arts & Entertainment guide. Responsible primarily for processing and creating ads, business and event collateral, web design and layout design. Other creative services included social media content creation and publishing, and branding for events and podcasts. 


Production Artist & Layout Editor

Created multiple layout designs for articles published in an online surf journal. Worked with editor to generate layouts from concept to completion. 
(The US version is no longer online, but the EU version is still going.)


Graphic Design Intern

Graphic design production and marketing work. Responsible for creating business collateral for Real Estate Agents and company events. Assignments included various signage, posters, note cards, business cards, holiday cards, logo design, layout design and photo editing/retouching.


Graphic Designer

Graphic designer position for bi-monthly printed business newspaper. Position was mostly production work; ad creation and/or updates, photo editing and retouching, and some additional layout design.


Assisted Head of Promotions in daily operations. Including online research, music and art research, formatting press releases, website updates and maintanence, poster design and flyering, shipping and receiving, etc.
