My name is Jared Arteaga and I am a former Operations Manager for Premier Aquatic Services LLC. based out of Aliso Viejo, California.
During my time at Premier I went from running summer camps, coaching swim teams, lifeguarding, and supervising employees with 25 other seasonal employees at two facilities in- 2011 and 2012, to assisting in the growth and preforming almost every conceivable task needed in the functionality of a small business- from 2013 to 2016, covering 18 aquatic and recreational facilities from Costa Mesa to San Clemente, managing and training 180 employee seasonal, part time, and full time employees, and achieving $1 million yearly revenue during my time as an Operations Manager.
In addition to that. as part of a contract clause I also served as the General Manager of the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center in partnership with the City of Aliso Viejo where I opened the facilities first ever retail stand thus, building strong vendor relations with aquatic apparel companies such as Speedo, FINIS, Cressi, and TRI-SWIM.
Furthermore, not only did I fulfill my fiduciary responsibilities to our stakeholders I also managed to reduce Premier’s abysmal employee turnover rate by implementing a culture and employee incentives program, ultimately resulting in the highest retention rate in the company’s history.
I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work for an extremely unique company and fulfill an extremely unique role at and assist in building it from the ground up at such a young age.
