Mario Braghieri has been involved in fashion production for over thirty years. At a young age, his parents owned a manufacturing company which created high quality samples and prototypes for many well-known brands. Later, he attended Istituto Marangoni in order to make his mark in the fashion market as a pattern maker. After graduating, he developed samples and worked in production for the Nadini Group in Modena (Italy) which included designer houses such as Gianfranco Ferrè and Fendi. Subsequently, he worked as a freelance professional and began training at Maragoni as an assistant teacher. Mario continued his education in the workforce with determined focus on improving his knowledge of women’s wear and preparation. He has had the honor of working for important names such as Emporio Armani, Maska, Cerruti, Mariella Burani, and Lagerfeld. With the introduction of the CAD systems to pattern making, he mastered the Gerber program which he now teaches in the pattern cutting course at Marangoni. From Spain to China, Belgium and the United Kingdom, Mario has been requested as a professional consultant and professor. Currently teaching at Istituto Marangoni, he enjoys working alongside students from all over of the world granting him the opportunity to experience the passion and innovation of the ever evolving fashion industry.
