I am currently studying business administration and Spanish at SDSU. I have a passion for outdoor sports and for the past year and a half I was a bike and kayak tour guide in San Diego. I will be graduating in spring of 2018 and am currently seeking internship opportunities with an outdoor based company.

As assistant manager, my duties were to ensure smooth flow of daily operations, customer safety, and customer satisfaction. I established the daily agenda and assigned tour guides to tours, I ensured that all employees were given a lunch break, and I set up all equipment needed for each day. Additionally, I was responsible for controlling and maintaining the quality of all bikes and kayaks. This included taking inventory of all equipment, repairing kayak holes, fixing tires and chains, general maintenance, and organization.

I was responsible for helping customers find the right product. It was important that I knew the unique selling proposition each product offered and how it met each customer's specific needs. Additionally, I was required to restock and reorganize all product at the end of the day ensuring that customers had an easy and comfortable shopping experience.
