My personal mission statement is, "I strive to work hard at solving problems creatively while having fun at the same time. Marketing Intern

As a team member at Blaze Pizza, I was given many different tasks that I was required to master quickly and effectively. I was assigned these tasks throughout the store, including the back where I prepared over 40 different ingredients, prioritizing the ones that were in more need than others, to make sure the front of the store was never out of supply. I also worked every position available in the front, organizing the customer seating area, taking orders accurately and producing orders as quickly as possible, while keeping quality at a high priority.

Team Member

At Vons, I started out helping customers either bagging groceries or finding products throughout a 35,000 sq ft store. I was then promoted to a day stocking position where I was given the responsibility and the independence to restock shelves in every section of the store in the busiest times of the year including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and the Superbowl. Additionally, I was called to the front to manage a checkout line during our busiest hours, dealing with customers' issues while trying to get as many customers through the line as possible.

Day Stocker/Cashier

I had trained at GKC since I was 4 years old, moving up through the ranks until I was given the opportunity to help out in classes. Eventually, I was given my own classes to teach, where I was required to have a set lesson plan for the day that was cohesive with an over-arching monthly theme. I taught children and teenagers from the ages of 4 to 16 for an hour at a time. Some days I would manage up to 25 kids by myself. My lessons not only taught children how to defend themselves but also life skills such as self-discipline, respect, and patience.
