Allie Kresen

Hi, my name is Allie Kresen! I am a senior at West Virginia University majoring in Design Studies with a double minor in Sustainable Design and Recreation, Parks, Tourism, and Resource Management. As a kid, I spent all of my free time in the outdoors and that passion for wilderness has shaped me into the creative environmentalist I am today. I have volunteered with organizations like Friends of the Cheat and Friends of Decker’s Creek to work on river and stream quality, worked on more local trail maintenance crews than I can count, and formulated trip models for beginner backpackers and rock climbers during my time working with Adventure West Virginia. I have learned a lot about the human effect on the environment and I would love to get to continue learning and growing while contributing to the health of the planet. My passion for exploring the outdoors is only surpassed by my passion to save it, which is why my professional goal is to foster a connection between my clients and the nature that surrounds them.
