Develop, implement, and manage the goals, objectives, policies, priorities and practices of employee development and relations.  Responsible for the recruitment and staffing, performance management, benefits and compensation administration, organizational development, employee relations, safety and welfare, health and wellness, compliance and regulation and community involvement.

Manage and maintain personnel files and databases.  Worked toward streamlining practices within the HR department by implementing the use of technology and new resources.  Conducted investigations, hiring, firing, and interviewing.  Ensure compliance and regulations are enforced and current.    Conduct payroll processing and timekeeping functions.  

Human Resource and Training Manager

Manage the Retail Division store personnel and corresponding administrative staff in the daily operations of the business. Identify, strategize and establish processes to create efficiencies within the organization. Implement corporate directives to increase inventory accuracy, better product in-stock position and product assortments. Advise in promotions and advertisement efforts. Evaluate areas for resets and create and execute merchandising standards. Ensure results in the areas of sales management, customer service, human resources, training, merchandising, marketing and buying. 

Director of Retail Operations and Personnel

Manage and maintain company personnel records, conducts hiring, firing and recruitment of employees. Create and implement new hire orientation and training programs. Create and implement policies and procedures, ensures compliance with EEO, participates in audits. Review, analyze and implement changes to benefits, compensation and incentive programs. Administered and handled all required state and federal leave programs, short-term disability, worker's compensation claims and unemployment hearings. Conduct investigations into employee issues and facilitated loss prevention investigations. Lead HR projects and actively participate in company meetings. 

Human Resource Manager

Manage and maintain all employee payroll information. Update payroll software with all applicable tax rates, medical premiums, 401k deductions and garnishments. Prepare ACH batches for payroll release, make state tax withholding and eftps payments and 401K deferral submissions and facilitate money transfers. Submit certified payroll, union working dues, trust fund and 401k reports to the Union. Report quarterly TDI and multiple worksite reporting. Participate in audits.
