After 25+ years of industry experience, I would like to be able to say I have seen it all, but then something new comes along changing the game. Just when you think you have it all figured out there is a change in the status quo. I think that is what makes this industry so exciting and challenging.
I have experience in all aspects of the motorcycle business specializing in P&A management where I was able to shape the trends within our store and expanded our reach internationally with relationship marketing. I am maintaining the social stream of several organizations where I can gain real-time knowledge of customer's wants and needs and how to best react to them.
I previously was employed as the Event Manager for Calumet Specialty Lubricants. The job encompassed both consumer facing brands owned by the company. Royal Purple, a specialty lubricant most commonly known in the automotive field and Bel-Ray another specialty lubricant company most widely known for the powersports products it produces. I maintained complete management of shows and events, from planning to final execution, as well as on-site customer hospitality and race team and athlete relations. These shows and events place me squarely in front of all levels of the sales funnel from manufacturer to distributor, to dealer, to end user as well as one-on-one interaction with influencers in the field. Today I am the Chief Operating Officer at CycleLogic, Inc., the makers of Engine Ice where I run the day to day operations of this popular high-performance coolant and anti-freeze brand.
I'm also the official motocross photographer for Raceway News, the official newspaper of Old Bridge Township's Raceway Park. I capture images for my business, Lukaitis Photo, recording action images at each event and providing content for various media outlets including my own site, NJ Motocross.
