I could tell you about how I didn't get into art until I was in college. I could tell you about how I was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of nine but still went to one of the top colleges in the country. I could tell you how I helped to start a company before I was out of college but instead I am going to tell you a story about who I am.
I strive for the best. Whether I am creating a graphic or racing in a triathlon I want to win. In college I played soccer and would love to tell you that I was the star of the team scoring goals and soaking in the lime light but that just was not the case. I rode the bench, but I found that when it came down to it I could make just as much of an impact off the field as I could on. So I made sure that I worked harder than anybody else on the field whether it was practice or a game I pushed myself because I new that the harder I worked the harder everyone else had to work. So even if I was not on the field during the game I wanted to make sure that the guys who were would succeed. I filled that role for four years and it was not always easy but what I can tell you is that the times I regret are the times that I did not push myself to work hard. College soccer is over for me but I have put that same drive into my work and now my racing of triathlons and I love it. So the moral of the story is that I am going to push my designing to be the best it can be everyday, and make sure that my team comes out on top.
