For the past 6 years, I have been a sales person in the commercial printing industry, with an emphasis on supplying printed materials to the Action Sports Apparel and hard goods industries. I specialized in the production of books, brochures, catalogs, magazines and consumer mailers. I am an extremely organized, high energy individual who can manage multiple projects at once.
The first 3 years (2011-2013) of my printing experience were spent working for one of the highest volume print shops in Orange County, Meridian Graphics. While working there I was an account executive, it was my job to track my customer’s projects from start to finish ensuring that all the customers’ expectations where met and making sure that any unforeseen production problems would not affect the on-time delivery of the project.
For the past 3 years (2013-2016) I have been running a print brokerage with one other sales person. In addition to my account executive duties I was also now in charge of generating competitive bids by requesting quotes from several different vendors with a goal of getting my customer the best price possible. Depending on the scope of the project I would need to schedule and coordinate with anywhere from 2-5 different manufacturing facilities thought Orange and LA county. I was also responsible for sending invoices and collecting payment. I am extremely familiar with QuickBooks.
The spectrum of projects I have produced is quite broad, I have handled production on billboards that are installed at Disney Land to DVD duplication to consumer mailers. I am a very versatile individual who can not only lead a team but can also work well within a team.
