I am currently a student studying finance and will complete my undergrad at Loyola Marymount University in May 2017. I spent my first two years attending Dominican University of California studying graphic design, where I was a part of the 2012 and 2013 NCAA D2 Men's Lacrosse team. Through my academic and athletic experiences, I have developed skills in teamwork, leadership, and time management, all along with improving my work ethic.
Since the inception of my family's craft brewery (Absolution Brewing Company) in Torrance, CA, three years ago, I have been directly involved and throughout this time, have been able to contribute and grow with the company in various areas, allowing my passion for sales, marketing, and photography, along with my education in finance, to have had a meaningful impact in brand and product promotion, customer service, as well as in the quality of content on all digital marketing platforms.
In December of 2016, up to that point I had been managing our events team for two years, accompanied with my two years’ experience studying graphic design, I felt I had sufficiently familiarized myself with Southern California’s craft beer community to make an impact in a different role with the company. I later went on to recruit a team of young entrepreneurial minded individuals, that possessed all the talent needed and were eager to get involved. Promptly after, I approached upper management with the proposal of my team handling everything from website creation and management, to branding and design, to social media and other content creation, that would also come at a much lower cost to the company. The proposal was approved and my team has been in full force, awaiting the launch of our new site and e-commerce platform on March 18th. I currently handle day-to-day social media content creation and operations, weekly email marketing platforms, and act as the director of communication between upper management and my team.
