Run With Bernie is a running-centered charitable movement sponsored by Nike Running and created with the intent of revitalizing the Eugene, Oregon running scene through doing three things: 1. Hosting re-occurring running events that follow the same historic routes of some of the past running greats, like Steve Prefontaine and Bill Bowermen. 2. Uniting people with dogs, giving them a much needed stress relief 3. Giving dogs much needed exercise and companionship-and possible adoptions through local animal shelters.

AHA is a Student Run Advertising Agency at the University of Oregon. 

I am currently working as the sole strategist on the agency's biggest account, New Venture Championship (NVC). 
I am also working as one of two strategists on the newly acquired, TRIbella Wine Aerator account.

My role's on these accounts include: 
1. Crafting a straight-forward, yet thought-provoking, creative brief, for the account's creative team to use as a north star of reference in their approach to executing creative advertisements for our client. 
2. Researching and discovering creative means of advertising for the creative team to use in producing their creative executions for the account.
3. Offering strategic insight to the team going forward from the hand-off of the creative brief.

Strategist

Supported the Nike Young Athletes Footwear Product Management team

Collaborated with a cross-functional team to conduct evaluation of Nike's toddler business, in regards to footwear
    - Created a physical store build out display with samples of each toddler model
    - Additionally, paired these displays with metrics I gathered and analyzed from product demand reports to help in further evaluating the successful and unsuccessful lines of toddler footwear
    - Worked with members from the Nike Young Athletes Merchandising department
    - As result of this project, the team has implemented many of the recommendations that came, resulting in a more productive and profitable line.

Updated footwear line plan documents in a quick and efficient manner

Created video recap of the marketing team's research trip to the Junior Olympics in Sacramento, CA


Product Line Management Intern

• Worked with sports product industry veterans and members of leading companies to assist with the launch of a first-of-its-kind Masters of Science program at the University of Oregon.
• Assisted with the logistical setup of program’s office, classroom, cutting-edge innovation lab
• Coordinated 2-day Innovation & Orientation workshop with over 80 workers of the sports apparel industry in attendance
-Effectively communicated and collaborated with employees of the White Stag building management in preparation and setup for orientation event

Program Launch Assistant 

• Headed up the concept refinement from brainstorming sessions with my cross functional team for our ICON Program (internship) project
• ‘Best Pitch’ program consisted of 6 teams of interns that were given a common question to solve for the company, as they look forward in innovation endeavors
• Presented to a panel of senior leadership, which included former and present executives from Hurley, Nike & Converse that analyzed and judged every group's presentation

Results:
• Myself, along with 5 other interns, were chosen as the team with the winning concept pitch
• Ideas from winning pitch will be researched further by the company and adopted as a direction to pursue

• Created from scratch Go-To-Market (GTM) Calendars in multiple formats for the department’s buying teams to use as a reference throughout the Fiscal Year of 2016
- Coordinated and led meetings with the department’s Buying, Planning, Operations and Visual teams to establish agreeable dates for the GTM calendars
