Matt Cosby

I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in May of 2013 with a BFA in Animation and around July of that year I started working at The Flag Company, Inc. as a graphic designer and printer. My responsibilities included preparing files for print, creating mock ups for flags, banners, and toothpick flags. I also worked with customers in order to create designs that they were happy with and worked best for their intended purposes. On occasion customers wouldn't able to find original files that were usable for print, so I would have to recreate their logos or design in order to be used for print.

Around August of 2013, I started working as a freelance animator for Slugs and Bugs; a creator for children's music based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Over the past few years I've created numerous videos that the singer for Slugs and Bugs uses online and as background visuals at his shows. As animator for these videos, my responsibilities included storyboarding, designing characters, animating, and final compositing.

In March of 2015 I took a part-time job as production coordinator at Church At The Well. I work closely with the pastor to create visuals for sermons and schedule volunteers to serve in various roles each Sunday.

Working multiple jobs at once has taught me a great deal about multitasking and prioritizing tasks.
