Sales Associate / Technician / Buyer

I have a diverse role at The Ski & Bike Shop. I split time between working on the sales floor as a sales associate and working back in the shop as a technician, tuning skis and snowboards during the winter season and bicycles during the summer season. For the past 3 years i have been attending the SIA trade show in Denver, representing the store as a buyer. I also attend QBP's Frostbike trade show in Minneapolis. At these trade shows, i get to sit in on different seminars and classes that are very informative on what's been happening in each industry and also tips for running a more successful shop. 

The grounds crew only consisted of 6 of us total, so everyone did a little bit of everything. Weekly tasks for me included: mowing all parts of the golf course, weed trimming, raking sand traps, picking up brush, fixing broken irrigation pipes, teaching junior golf, washing equipment, and landscaping.
