Leighton Hubbell

Just last year, I rode my bike 100 miles across Death Valley. Not metaphorically—I literally rode through one of the most desolate and beautiful places on Earth (in 25-30 mph winds).

While I was riding, I thought about quitting a dozen times. But despite the high winds, the heat, mental and physical fatigue, and helping other riders get through it, I kept going. I’m that person. Once I say I’ll do something, it will happen.

Now, I put that perseverance to work as an art director/senior designer. I don’t have to trek across the scorching desert…but I do have to get us there.

I’m a multi-disciplinary graphic designer and illustrator who’s delivered creative and engaging solutions across brand identity, print, packaging, and digital media. My work has been featured in PRINT, HOW, CLIO, Addys, VoyageLA, TheDieline.com, Lynda.com, LinkedIn Learning, the LogoLounge blog, and in over 40 books.

If you’re interested in grabbing coffee and talking shop (or to hear how about the wicked tailwind on the way back), please send an email my way.
