Executive Assistant

I’m a well-rounded communication professional with experience working in various student service and student affairs capacities in higher education. I am detail-oriented, organized and resourceful. In addition to my experience in higher education, I’ve also worked in media, coordinating licensing programs and managing public relations for action sports brands like SURFER, Powder and Transworld SKATEboarding.

•	Coordinated licensing projects for ten major action sports brands within the network
•	Acted as a liaison between licensees and brand photo editors, to ensure deadlines and contract requirements were met in a timely manner
•	Managed a database of images for licensing efforts, ensuring rights and clearances were in place
•	Responsible for public relations efforts within the company for all events and major announcements
•	Managed and updated internal media industry lists for press releases

Office Supervisor

•	Performed and supervised the day-to-day operations of the MBAC youth camp program
•	Interviewed, supervised, scheduled and trained camp counselors and group leaders
•	Monitored progress of all part-time student staff, addressing issues and providing appropriate feedback
•	Conducted weekly staff meetings to cover safety issues, motivate counselors and discuss promotions


Camp Operations Coordinator

•	Managed new student communication; served as primary contact for all incoming students’ questions
•	Guided students through the necessary steps for beginning a graduate school program and making the transition to an international setting
•	Planned, coordinated and supervised the orientation program 3 times a year for each incoming class 
•	Interviewed, trained and supervised student orientation leaders
•	Coordinated flight information and airport pick-up schedules for meeting and greeting 130 new students every semester
•	Represented the University as an ambassador and tour guide for prospective students, parents, University guests, and staff members visiting from the US office
•	Reviewed and implemented student housing policies and procedures and assisted in housing operations
•	Represented the Campus Living department on social media websites and created Facebook pages for each new incoming class to utilize for introductions and general communication
