I’m a strong believer in the power of the pen, the adventure of creativity and the joy of combining hard work with passion. I currently work in tech PR, where I help clients reach consumers through social media, press outreach and other strategic public relations activities.

At Copernio, I have attended trade shows and press events on behalf of clients, developing face-to-face relationships with members of the media and displaying expertise on client’s products. I've worked with account managers to maximize positive exposure on a national level for consumer electronic clients. I've researched relevant media and social influencers using Agility and GroupHigh, then pitched for product placement and reviews, as well as kept detailed records of press clippings post-placement. I've also ran the Social Accounts for client, using Hootsuite and focusing on Social customer service. I have wrote press releases, pitch letters and web content

I managed a team of seven, including writers, editors and designers to create a brand, visual identity and sponsor tools for a new venue in Chico.

I also assisted on an account for non-profit's communication needs, including event promotion, social storytelling and media pitching, as well as participate in running the agency's social media. 

Account Executive

At Qualcomm, I worked in the Government Technologies division, targeting specific costumers and markets. I planned six events related to internal branding, which involved communication with multiple employees and vendors. I worked with creative services teams, including a graphic designer, videographer and a promotional products consultant to create unified brand messaging. I also wrote promotional materials, such as newsletters, informational slideshows and posters. I researched and budgeted product specific trade shows 

Marketing Intern

At Radio Chico, I prepared a weekly rundown of local events and happenings in the community for DJs. I kept the community events section of the website updated and organized. I helped set up and tear down equipment at live broadcasts. I also preformed general office duties, such as answering phones, taking messages and organization. 

At Impact, I sold newspaper subscriptions for more than 50 newspapers around the country. I achieved top sales person of the week multiple times, competing against 80 people.
