James Shields

My life revolves around my passions, whether it be mountain biking on the weekends, or traveling around the world from New Zealand to the deep jungles of South East Asia. I enjoy challenging myself by stepping into the unknown and quickly learning how to adapt to a variety of situations. Some call me a adrenaline junkie, but I think it has less to do with adrenaline and more so with testing the limits of what is possible. I believe that its important to consistently push yourself and get into situations that make you feel uncomfortable, otherwise you will never be able to see what you are capable of. This being said I strive for a sustainable balance and enjoy working hard in the office as well as speeding down a double black diamond on my skis. I think one of the most beautiful things in life is connecting with new people and widening my perspective and I hope that the people I meet here on Malakye will do just that.
